LPC Associates

Your LPC Associate Internship is one of the final steps in the developmental process of learning to counsel.  My primary role in your internship is to oversee, to the best of my abilities your actual practice of counseling in compliance with Texas licensing regulations.  My services as your clinical licensing supervisor will be rendered in a professional manner consistent with accepted ethical standards.

Supervision will consist of weekly sessions, some individual and some group sessions.  Our sessions will focus on the clients you have counseled during the week; primary focus for these sessions; licensing regulations; and case scenarios.

We will also be looking at process skills (counseling techniques); case conceptualization; and administrative tasks.  I will maintain records of your supervision sessions for submission when you have complete your supervision.  It is highly recommended that you also keep records.

All supervision will be done via HIPPA compliant telehealth platform.  You will also have access to your private portal which will allow you to access the sessions; download your completed files; and upload any necessary paperwork.  In between sessions, you will have access to my email and cell number (for emergencies only) in case you need consultation.

Supervision is $250 per month and is due on the first of the month.
